Love Letter of a Waiting Heart comes from a budding letter writer. It tells of a woman’s willingness to wait for true love and someone worthy of that love. She closes with the promise to keep herself worthy for him as well.

June 25, 2013

To the love I’m waiting for,

After several years, maybe, you’ll get to read this letter. After a few years, maybe I’ll get to see you then. After years and years, maybe, I’ll get over with this waiting process. And until that happens, I promise you dear, I WILL WAIT.

I wait because I know you are worth waiting for.

Millions of guys out there, but it is indeed hard to find someone I would want to spend the rest of my life with. I’ve met a lot of guys, but something seems to be lacking. I’m looking for something more – something that can only be found in YOU. Though I don’t know you yet, Ā I know you are different. Please don’t be like others – please be rare. Rare people are precious, and I know you are one of them.

With God’s provision, I vow to LOVE you, and save my heart for you.

I will be the girl you would want to marry; I will be the girl you would be proud to introduce to your parents; I will be the girl who will lovingly accompany you through every storm, though every pain, through every tear. I promise you will have the best of me, and until that time comes, I promise to wait faithfully.

As I face my daily life, I’ll keep asking God for the courage to learn to love you more and more. So that when we finally meet, I’ll be assured that I will give you the love you deserve.

When I’m feeling lonely, I just look up at the sky and remind myself that somewhere out there, you are under it too. ā™„

Patiently waiting with love,

  1. This is a sweet letter, I think this is what is lacking in today’s dating/marriage/courtship arena. Nowadays people rush into relationships and don’t value waiting.

  2. While I was reading the letter, I was thinking that this letter sounds like the one I wrote sometime ago. And then I go to the part where the author of the letter was introduced, and what a coincidence! The author is a CPA and working as an auditor, that was my profession sometime ago and I can’t help but relate. =) Hmmm, I hope Clarisse would be happy travelling while auditing, most of my travels before were related to my audit work. =)

  3. How wonderful to have a patient heart. I can relate as my heart said the same for thirty years before I found my then boyfriend, now husband.

  4. This reminds me of myself 5 years ago. Although I was able to find what I thought was true love, it did not only gave me pain but also taught me to love myself more and to still believe that someday… i’ll find the love and happiness that i think i deserve. šŸ™‚

  6. papaleng says:

You are a ‘martir’, as we call it in our ‘boys’ lingo. But blessed is that man whom you are waiting for.

  7. Awww! Patience is bitter but the fruit is sweet šŸ™‚ What a sweet love letter to read. Love comes in the right time and right place especially to those who are patiently waiting šŸ™‚

  8. cheerful says:

Aww, such a lovely letter..sweetest, too. I hope Clarisse will meet him in God’s perfect time. And its always great to wait…:)

  9. Lainy says:

They say patience is a virtue and it requires a lot of waiting. Clarisse is one woman worthy of emulation. It’s rare to find a girl these days as virtuous as her. Most act in haste and never stops to think. I am sure God will give her a man that’s so worthy of her love- a love that’s true and pure.

I am amazed myself when I was reading her letter because there are only a few women her age who understands the value of patience and self-worth.

such a lovely letter…makes me wish I am still in the waiting phase….not that I am not happy now with the love of my life…just that that time of imagining the future and dreaming of Mr. Right is a phase in life that’s one of the most thrilling! love the way she said “When Iā€™m feeling lonely, I just look up at the sky and remind myself that somewhere out there, you are under it too. ā™„” šŸ˜€

To be young, free, and waiting for the love of your life – what an exciting phase in a woman’s life!

  11. Shie says:

God always grant the wishes of His faithful children. Wishing Clarisse her Godsbest šŸ˜‰
