Sample Pitch Letter from a SAHM or WAHM(stay-at-home mom or work-at-home mom)  is a professional letter that shows the right way of finding sponsors or direct advertisers for a well-maintained blog. Specific emphasis is given on having a relevant and quality site to back-up the inquiry or proposal. Companies and advertisers are generally selective of the sites or blogs which  they place their brands in so not every proposal will be considered.

There are several factors that will be considered in determining the fitness of a blog for sponsorship, product review, or direct advertising. These may include the niche of the blog, the blog stats, and the quality of blog contents. Potential sponsors or advertisers will have to see the benefit of tying up with a blog especially if the brand involved has considerable reputation and monetary payment is involved.

Dear Mr. or Ms. ________________

My name is Teresa Martinez, a stay-at-home mom and owner/author of the blog Just-Passing-Thru. I am writing to you to inquire about the possibility of collaborating with you and your company in the form of a product review. I have personally tried your product and would like to bring the benefits of using it to the attention of my readers. I’m sure most of my readers will be visiting your site thus providing your company more opportunities to gain new customers.

Like all posts contained in my blog, my review of your product will enjoy the advantage of promotion in all social media platforms I participate in such as Facebook, Twitter,  Pinterest, Instagram, and Google Plus. This guarantees exposure of your product to the right audience and target market. My readers know that I only provide honest opinion in my reviews and I personally believe that such practice is in line with your efforts to establish your brand’s good name.

The majority of my audience is comprised of women in the age range of 30 to 50, with children, college educated, and browse from home. I’m sure you will agree that this is the perfect audience for your product. Please let me know if you need further information about my blog.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Truly yours, Teresa Martinez

Some Tips to Consider:

1. If your blog statistics is something to be proud of, then by all means provide the relevant numbers as to daily unique visits, ranking, network, and other relevant data.

2.  Try to find a specific person to write to instead of using the generic sir or madame since this shows that effort has been exerted.

3. Pitch letters can also be sent for possible giveaway collaborations, ad placement, and sponsorship. Each pitch letter should be unique and modified to be more fitting to the company being written to.

4. Include relevant links to your blog and social sites.

5. Be sincere and straightforward, taking care to consider that the pitch letter already provides a preview to a writer’s abilities.
